7. Set up your contact form
Don’t skip this step. Your contact form needs to work before you launch.
How the form works in this template
Where it is
On the Contact page — the “Request a free quote” card.
Layer name
Contact Form
Fields
Full name, Email, Phone and “How can we help?” (submitted as Name, Email, Phone and Message).
Button
Submit Button component — it shows Loading, Success (green) and Error (red) states automatically.
1
Open the Contact page in Framer and find the “Request a free quote” form.
2
Select it: click the form card, or choose the Contact Form layer in the Layers panel. Select the whole form, not a single field.
3
In the right-hand panel, open the form’s Send To setting to choose where submissions are delivered.
4
Enter the email address that should receive customer enquiries — usually your main business inbox.
5
Framer saves your changes automatically. Click Publish so the live site uses the new form settings.
6
Open your published site and send a real test enquiry (see the checklist).
Test your form before launch
Submit a real test enquiry on your published site with:
Name
Phone
Message
Then verify:
The submission arrives
The correct email receives it
The customer’s information is included
The success state works
Spam protection works, if enabled
Never assume the form works just because the website is published. Send a real test submission.
8. Update your SEO
Set site-wide defaults in your Site Settings, then give important pages their own title and description in each page’s settings.
Page title
Meta description
Open Graph image
Favicon
Location/service area
Page-specific titles and descriptions
Example
Title
ABC Plumbing | Emergency Plumber in Austin, TX
Description

Keep your SEO natural. Don’t stuff pages with repeated keywords.
9. Connect your domain
Once your content and forms are ready, connect your custom domain through your Framer site settings.
Then check:
